I’m not going to do a full write up of how this deck works, but wanted to give a few tips on how to win the mirror and how to beat emoboys.

The only important tech is a one of It's a Trap!. In the mirror, and against emoboys, “It’s a Trap!” can set up a huge double-poe special that simply wins games. A few people I play with question the need to pitch twice in a single turn - but you only need to do that once to get ahead until you win the race. This also exists against emoboys due to Kylo and Vader both having natural special sides and then playing a lot of abilities with specials too.

Big thing to remember against emoboys is keep Hit and Run or Fast Hands in hand - unless you desperately need the speed. May seem counter-intuitive, but you’re going to resolve first anyway, and villain doesn’t have a lot of multi-removal, so one of your dice will be safe for Poe special. Keeping the low costs in hand to offset Kylo’s special pulling a U-wing or a falcon is essential. Try to not flood your hand with Falcon’s and U-wing’s.

Overall this deck is a blast to play, it’s nothing new, but I think with practise and different techs it can become a lot less mindless and a lot more fun. Hit and Run into It’s a Trap is one of my favourite combo’s in the game. Just don’t forget to activate Maz with the trap-ambush even if you just want to resolve Poe’s dice. Thanks for reading!
