Qui-Gon and Kanan come in at a perfect 30 when running their elite versions. The deck focuses on Qui-Gon's abuse of shields and powerful upgrades. Kanan works great, especially when rolling focus. You can resolve his focus die before you take an action, turning a die to any side. This works great for Hand-crafted Light Bow and One With The Force, as you can utilize My Ally is the Force on it to resolve it twice. My Ally The Force can also be used on either Qui-Gon or Kanan's two damage melee sides for a quick 4 damage.

Abusing the shields is awesome. Most dice in this deck have shield sides to fuel Qui-Gon's damage output. Couple it with Cautions, Riposte, Synchronicity, Fearless, and Shoto Lightsaber, you got some great shield slinging opportunities. Fearless can also help you to dig through your deck to find your mitigation cards, as well as your combo shield cards. Reaping the Crystal allows for power plays, such as Decisive Blow to really neutralize your opponent. Reaping the Crystal can also lead to an early game Hand Crafted Light Bow, or Luke's Lightsaber, which can make your characters a real threat early on.

Obi-Wan's Hut is great in this deck. You typically don't have to worry about your opponent claiming since the effect doesn't really cause you any grief, and they probably won't give up a resource for one shield. And you can claim to trigger Qui-Gon's ability. I love it in this deck.

I have tried single die Kanan with Luke. I have found that elite Kanan is just much more consistent, and I feel like Qui-Gon and Kanan are a match made in heaven right now. I have play tested this deck a bit and have had a lot of fun with it, I still need to iron out the kinks, but this is a good start. Qui-Gon is my favorite Star Wars character, so its awesome to find a fun deck to use him in. I even enjoy it better than Qui-gon/Rey. Kanan's dice are just so much better than Rey's.
