Director Krennic - Cruel but Brilliant and Death Trooper are not the best characters in terms of damage, but when you add Training and Wingman and Krennic's ability and focus on claiming, suddenly your dice pool rivals the best villain decks damage output. The key being that the value of Death Trooper's dice for Training's 2 cost is cheaper for its potential damage output then other 2 cost upgrades.
The keys to this deck are:
- Mulligan for Training and Wingman. Get them out early. Now you have reduced activations and more dice.
- If you don't have the battlefield before you roll Krennic, grab it back with Lockdown
- Lots of resource cost damage sides so you need Imperial HQ, Imperial Discipline, Imperial War Machine, and Moisture Farm - Tatooine to support
- Finisher it the always fun Tactical Mastery into We Have Them Now combo.
This is SoR version of the deck and you miss Rangs sans fin with Chair à canon to defeat trooper for him to reborn. Try Ciena Ree - Adept Pilot for EaW version you can have your battle field and Nous les tenons enfin turn one with 10 damage if opponent have no control.
