This is interesting - I have been running ePalp and doing very well, but I want to mix it up a bit, and I think I will give something like this a try.

I like the idea of Tie Pilot to protect Palp's die when it rolls ... it won't help when the other 4 sides come up, though, so a counter-mitigation like Endurance would be helpful. You also give up 2 guaranteed distributed damage, and a little bit of tempo (extra activation needed)... but the red cards you can bring should help a lot.

Tie Pilot will probably become priority target, when he dies Palp is left to pick up the slack... so he needs more protection, or a sacrifice effect. This deck screams for The Price of Failure for just that purpose, so I'd consider dropping both Enrage for 2 of those. This will let you pop a near-dead Tie Pilot to get another Palpatine - Galactic Emperor roll-in - assuming he's got lots of upgrades on him. Otherwise, I'd just The Best Defense... him to death...

New Orders is kind of pricey for what it does... dropping it would let you double up on some of your 1-offs; I'd probably take Salvo and The Best Defense.... Being able to move Training to Palpatine is pretty helpful, but with Cargo Hold - Eravana in play your opponent could always move it back...

I mentioned Endurance to give some counter-mitigation. I'd probably drop Logistics and Use The Force for it.
