After piloting the much more Common Hero Vehicles build of eAayla eRose Ezra for the last month, i ended up being inspired by Hyperloops article around Hero Vehicles and the road to worlds - https://www.thehyperloops.com/18wc2/

It references dustin13862's deck with Wedge, eRose and Jedha deck. It also mentions how Hired Gun is a serious contender due to health and 2 resource sides so i decided to explore this, and build on the card selection based on what i had experienced playing my previous Hero Vehicles Deck.

I previously had this down as a recent GNK winner but it suprised me and got me to Top 8 at World's! I was knocked out but Mads and his Rey Aayla deck (very worthy winner!), but played some great people and was impressed at how well this build performed. Will do more of a write up in the near future, as well as making a couple of small tweaks based on some learns from the weekend.

Congrats on the finish! Ive been meaning to take my deck to a major tournament, just have to get some time off of work. Who did most people target first?

Thanks mate and thanks for the inspiration! Definately do it, couldn't recommend it highly enough. I think the edge the deck had was that people didn't expect it and struggled to work out who to target first! They all add great value so its a tough decision but most people went for Rose and her extra dice. The first two games I played they were able to kill Rose first turn, but I was still able to win both with the sheer volume of supports on the table early game.

Yeah, my games always got to the point of the opponent being done with his turn and claiming, while I still had a character and 4 more supports to roll in, plus the 2 in my hand that havent gotten played yet. I liked the Partisan because of the 2 free 2 sides, while still having a resource. The only thing Im surprised at is the low amount of mitigation, especially against Yoda - Wizened Master/Hondo Ohnaka - Respected Businessman decks where you lose the Garbage Chutes. But Congrats again!

Yeah, mine was a similar story. I think I will take out the two tech teams for two copies of truce as the quicker resources seem more beneficial and allow for some suprise plays. I did consider the Partisan, but the Hired Guns extra resource side and extra point of health made such a difference and found myself thankful for the direct damage option late game to pick characters off. Yoda Hondo is a tough match up, but Garbage chute only makes up 2 of the 8 mitigation cards (9 if you include medic) and a lot of Yoda Hondos still have the odd damage side to garbage chute on force wave, Verpine and lightbow. Vandalise can also really help with getting rid of some of the more powerful upgrades it runs which can really swing the game. Thanks mate, I hope you get the chance to take your deck to a major Event!

I'm not surprised you did well with this deck. I feel that the Wedge variant of hero vehicles is the best option for that type of deck. Wedge's power action alone is basically an extra die (it always rolls focus, for vehicle which you'd likely use anyhow on a vehicle). Haven't tried using Hired Gun myself in my vehicle deck, but might try it as eventually this deck just doesn't need the money anymore (with Rally Aid and Tech Teams). I do like Partisan for the sole reason that he is additional help for Wedge's +3ID and that mill ability has come up clutch, so-so many times. Either way, you likely can't go wrong with either one. Congrats.

Cheers mate, I agree - Wedge is a powerhouse. Also, running him 1 dice means people are reluctant to target him early meaning you can focus for the majority of the game! Hired gun is great for bringing in the cash, and dishing the critical damage late game. I might give the Jedha a few test games and see how it gets on! Thanks mate!
