I played this deck at my local this past weekend. I love it. Wondering what you think of those DH-17's? I hated them. Not sure what I'd replace them with but I felt like they didn't help me all that much. Tactical mastery didn't help me much either.

The key to this deck, IMHO - was quick draw. This card is legit.

What are your thoughts, Mike? Props to Sith Holocron for sharing his version which is the one I played. I had a lot of fun with it!

Mr Chip if I could run 6 DH-17 blasters I would have in this deck. It’s super legit. One out and a back up muscle can really set your board state up. No ambush but guns out means a possible 10 damage round 1. In addition if the character you have is being targeted you can easily over write it with a redeploy weapon with or without QuickDraw and it only costs the same. If you are really adverse to it drop them both and add a Jump Pack (special works well with battlefield) or Phasmas Blaster. Tac Mas easily won me two games for the action cheating the deck can do during Euros. Glad you enjoyed it and good to see Mike that you still include Probe in the deck, personally I ran two Hasty Exit for die removal but they underperformed for me during the event.

I must have misheard I thought you were going to pull one of the DH-17's... I guess you and I need to play each other so I can see a master use it!

@Mr_Chip Hey Chip! I gotta side with Sith Holocron on that one, I think DH-17 is probably one of the best upgrades in the game. It has almost the same sides as a Holdout Blaster for 1/2 the cost. That extra resource can go a long way in this deck. Tactical Mastery is definitely situational, but when it goes well, you usually win. As for Quick Draw, it's definitely an MVP, but you only get 2. Tactical mastery can sort of act like a 3rd Quick Draw, or be used alongside Quick Draw for some pretty fun results.

@Sith HolocronI agree on Hasty Exit, I used to have one, but I've been claiming less and less with this deck as I try and push for max damage each turn. Killing a character is the best die mitigation this deck has (most of the time). I'd still like to find a few more mitigation pieces, but there aren't many good options.

How far did you go at world's with it? I am trying to decide if I can run with these two realistically in competition.

RebelSpy 1304

@triplenine I finished 35th at Worlds. Take a look at this if you want some more info about the list I ran at Worlds: swdestinydb.com

Nice showing! I am still tinkering with mine and trying to put together ideal winning conditions for my play style. I will post up my next iteration when I am done with it.

Have you thought of just putting in 2 tactical masteries instead of swiftness. I feel like it can pull off the same trick Swiftness is trying to do while also being flexible enough to do other things with it. (Example you can tactical mastery into We have them now and then resolve just like you can with swiftness, but tactical mastery isnt limited to having to be paired with another card.)

RebelSpy 1304

Yeah that’s true about Tactical Mastery, but a lot of the time people go for Phasma first and then it’s a dead card when she’s defeated. If it didn’t have that spot red requirement it would definitely be better than swiftness.

Swiftness into We Have Them Now is super clutch though, same goes with tactical. Its just like when you use Mace Windu ability to kill someone, they completely lose sight of it bein there.

@RebelSpy Have you had any luck moving this pair into Trilogy format? I have a FLGS Trilogy tournament on this week and a Trilogy SC on Sunday and I just don't have enough time in with other pairings. I have a few decks I could play but I am best with this pairing. Thoughts? Hyperloops had a deck outlined but I have not had an opportunity to try their version out yet.

RebelSpy 1304

@triplenine I haven't tried this in Trilogy at all. It's probably a totally different deck without all the ambush and the hand disruption. There's only 6 Trilogy legal cards in the whole deck :P If WotF is legal maybe you can make these two work, but I don't really have any insight unfortunately.
