Made it to the Top 8 with this deck at the Vancouver, BC Regional.

Round 1: W - eJyn/eCassian Round 2: W - eThrawn/eSnoke Round 3: W - eQui-Gon2/eYoda Round 4: W - ePoe/eHondo Round 5: L - eThrawn/eSnoke Round 6: L - eThrawn/eSnoke Finished 4-2, 6th after Swiss. Top 8: L - eThrawn/eSnoke

This was a really fun deck to play and I don't have many regrets from the tourney other than one match that I could have played better in. Congrats to the winner who I got in round 2 and gave him his only loss for the day :)

As someone who has been playtesting Jyn/Cassian for a full month what are your thoughts on 1) handheld LS-1? do you use it enough games 2) Surgical strike? Did it work for you? 3) Retreat, did you use it more than hsj? 4) occupied city? Did it work against you or for you mostly?

@Dapper421 1. I think the handheld Cannon is great and came in clutch in some moments where I needed to push through damage fast. While I came into the regional expecting to play more towards mill/control I ended up leaning more towards aggro/control and the cannon helped a lot with that.

  1. Surgical strike won me my match in round 2 against the eventual regional winner by blowing up his hailfire with a +3 on Jyn's Blaster. I think it was good tech against the big support decks that I expected to be there, but wouldn't make it more than a one of.

  2. Retreat was needed just to keep the slower decks in check, I wanted either retreat or HSJ every round after the first round and needed all 4 copies in the deck to keep finding it.

  3. Occupied City is the best battlefield for this deck when you are expecting to see Thrawn/Snoke (maybe not so much anymore though). I milled a lot of cards off decks when I won the battlefield.

Really love this deck and idea behind it. I've only played it one time and won milling out a vader deck. Now that thrawn/snoke has been nerfed do you see it going more in the mill direction or aggro? Also, whats the first gun you look to get down normally. Thanks for this list!

@whataboutb0b The deck definitely needs to be aimed at aggro/damage and use mill as control. I usually want to have scrap heap in my first hand as it fuels the deck each round with Jyn's activation and keeps your jumps online every round. After that any two cost is great turn one with the goal of getting Jyn's Blaster out mid-late game as a finisher.
