Shortly there after the pre-release of SoR, FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper started popping up in some monstrous Teams. I have poured over the many different builds and finally settled upon this one as my idea of the "optimal" build for the dreaded FN-2199 Deck. So I decided to give is a fancy name and throw it up here. The Deck is pretty simple to pilot, and that is one of the frightening things about the Deck. It can pilot itself with ease, and basically the only thing that is really going to ruin your Game is going to be those unavoidable unlucky rolls.

In your opening hands, you ideally want to see Vibroknife and either/and/or Boundless Ambition and Emperor's Favor. The rest you really do not care about, as long as they are Upgrades. Anything in your hand that is not an Upgrade or a Boundless Ambition or Emperor's Favor, you throw back in your deck for Mulligan.

You will rarely ever claim the Battlefield with this Deck, so do not stress yourself over this. I have noticed where I play, people play a lot of Decks that utilize Starship Graveyard - Jakku, and I find that it is also the best Battlefield for this Deck as well. So the thought is that when I face a Deck using the same Battlefield and I win Initiative, I am going to be choosing my Opponents Battlefield so I can put 2 Shields on my Royal Guardian. The Guardian Ability really likes that, and also if the rare chance I can claim, I have the benefit of Starship Graveyard - Jakku. I have been looking at Imperial Armory - Death Star as well. Its all about taste at this point in my opinion.

The piloting is simple. You want to play as many Upgrade Weapons as you can on FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper as you can in a single Turn. This is going to require you to be clever when your Replace your Upgrade Weapons. I have found that at least one Vibroknife needs to be on FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper permanently. I also generally will also keep Z6 Riot Control Baton on FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper. The third Upgrade Slot will be the rotating Upgrade Weapon. It does not matter what Upgrade Weapon finally rests in that slot in what I have come to call the 'weapon salute' is done, but if you can swing it, its best to have a Melee dominate Die there.

Unkar Plutt - Junk Dealer is the real MVP here. He makes it so you generally always have Resources to your 'weapon salute' and he makes sure that if you roll a + you can use it for Unkar Plutt - Junk Dealer built in Action.

Royal Guard is there for Guardian and to add Blue for Boundless Ambition, Emperor's Favor, and Lightsaber. It helps FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper and Unkar Plutt - Junk Dealer stay alive just that much longer. I stand by it, that the Guardian Ability is the most powerful thing in SW Destiny to date.

As to the non-Upgrade Cards in the Deck. Arms Deal is awesome when you have Boundless Ambition in hand as well. You basically discard to Arms Deal and then play Boundless Ambition to refill your hand and precede to the 'weapon salute'.Bait and Switch and New Orders are pretty self explanatory. Relentless Pursuit is the flex spot and I have been toying with switching it out for Backup Muscle. For the same 2 Card Slots, you move the potential Unblockable Damage to 6 instead of the 4 with Relentless Pursuit.

Think really hard before you play this Deck. Do not play against the meek at heart. This Deck is not designed to make you any friends, but instead lose some. But seriously, play this Deck responsibly and always remember to have fun.

I'm liking the idea of using He Doesn't Like You as a way to add a little more removal to the deck. It works out nicely if you get a blank or modified side on one of your free weapon rolls.

I'm having a little trouble getting behind Emperor's Favor. It seems like it costs a card in a resource to get a few extra draws over the next couple turns/boundless ambitions. I feel like Imperial Inspection could make a bigger impact in some match ups.

Have this same deck almost card for card but instead of Royal Guard I use Kylo....you're giving up 1 pt and 2 HP just to get Guardian which I don't find necessary, and in a pinch Kylo can start swinging.

my deck differs with -2 IQA, -2 Emperor's Favor, -1 New Orders and replaces them with + 1 Cheat, +2 Crime Lord, + 2 Ace in the Hole

....oh, and the battlefiled is Ewok Village.
