Cad Bane - Vicious Mercenary takes the front line in this wildly fun and fascinating look at a deck that can come at its opponent from several angles. Tarkin - Grand Moff stands at the ready to reap the rewards of "poor" rolls and take advantage of weakened foes.
Please note that this deck is built solely out of cards I own, as I haven't made a heavy investment in copies of upgrades. Toward the end of the description, I have listed some potential changes to hit combos better.
The goal of this deck is to bring Bane in early with Hunting Rifle (or wait a turn to activate with Extortion) In future turns, you can quickly rotate upgrades for fast activations and follow up actions. Bane is going to be targeted early with so much of your damage coming from him. If possible, make sure that he is defeated with at least one blaster attached with Redeploy.
While Bane is bringing major heat, Tarkin will slowly prepare for final swings. There is not a huge need to rely on bringing weapons in on Tarkin, as he doesn't match well with any of the blasters. Bait and Switch and 74-Z Speeder Bike combos well into setting up Tarkin to use his Power Action. Take advantage of those sides, too. You can get through your turn much faster with fewer rerolls.
Launch Deck - Home One is great when you can't manage to pull a resource cost for Slave I or Wrist Rockets. If you aren't using this battlefield, you can still do some considerable damage with Ascension Gun and (hopefully) take advantage of the opponent's battlefield.
The deck has great potential for resource control, denial, and milling with the right rolls. I have seen some rolls wipe out my opponent's hand and it opens up huge opportunities to play cards out the way I want.
Some notes:
This deck is a ton of fun but does have its pitfalls. Be wary of the lack of dice control; Battle Fatigue feels a bit of a waste for one cost when you can just pull in Sound The Alarm. It's themed well and I don't usually have any issue with resource management.
I would cut DT-29 Heavy Blaster Pistol for another Extortion or 74-Z Speeder Bike. The card is wickedly slow and I use it only to chain into Bane's activation.
