On the whole, this is probably about the best you're going to get for the Battle Droids. As a very weak deck, focusing on Events is probably the only way to get any use out of most of your deck. |
i hate this deck. damn you. |
Lockdown into scorched earth is hard to ignore with most matchups. E-11 is the only upgrade I find useful in this deck because of the indirect side and redeploy, while also have a resource side. I don't think separatist landing craft is good in 5 droid decks, it's more of a splashable card in non-droid decks. Command Bridge is a bit of overkill to me because the battle droids should be activating each other anyways, unless you just roll terrible, and command bridge costs a resource to play. Sound the alarm and doubt instead of squad tactics (same reason above) and flank (outnumber is just better than flank for this deck because your first action is hoping to roll in all battle droids, which turns off flanking). Locked and loaded may also be a card to consider for consistency. Tactical mastery into locked and loaded has worked similarly well to lock down into scorched earth. The best defense instead of outnumber if you find removing 2 dice to deal 3 damage a battle droid with 1 health as satisfying as I do. Fort Anaxes is the best battlefield if you use my suggestions. If you like crazy turn 1 combos, try testing imperial backing into sonic cannon. If you get it off, you're way ahead of your opponent, but if you don't it doesn't really hurt you. If your entire plan is to get as many battle droids out as possible then ignore my suggestions. If you want it to be as competitive as possible, these are what I have experience when trying to use this deck competitively. |

Wow I really did not expect this much feedback, I've had a few games with this deck and had some additions, Imperial Backing + Sonic Cannon is already in and definitely a fun time. I don't like doubt as much as outnumber and flank, but you are right about flank being not fantastic since I'm just rolling in droids as quick as possible. Unfortunately, I love the separatist landing craft so much. Though I don't think its too bad. There isn't any other way to make resources in the deck and putting two shields on a droid is pretty funny. Even if it is very bad it's at least the pet card of the deck. We have them now has been basically useless because of not owning the battlefield, might be more useful with lockdown, and then scorched earth would be easier to add. Locked and loaded looks rad and I'm down for that plan. I'm not too much of a fan of upgrades but that blaster could be tempting, probably not though. I'll make a few changes to the deck and then link it here if anyone is interested. |
On another note, I may drop squad tactics and command bridge solely on the fact that I don't care how long it really takes to activate all my droids, I'll still most likely be not claiming the battlefield. Thoughts? |

why We have them now? |
Looks like a fun deck. The only suggestion I have is to add some hard hitting cards, whether supports or upgrades. With those supports you will be making tons of money. Infantry grenades could be a good add for more guaranteed indirect damage. Maybe throw in some E-11 blasters with redeploy. I would say auto cannon too but droids are too squishy to run weapons without redeploy. Two riot control batons are actually viable in this deck.
