After a round of blue milk martinis, it's down to Jedi Business.
Upgrade your Padawans with lightsabers fast using Reaping The Crystal and It Binds All Things combined with the Padawan's ability. Padawans are very handy with a lightsaber (or two).
Throw up a wall of shields from Caution, Defensive Stance and Heightened Awareness, and extra damage blocking from Force Illusion.
The Jedi Temple Guard protects them with his Guardian ability and two shield sides, but chips in good melee support as well.
Last but certainly not least: the Jawa. He is not just there to translate the bar menu. It looks like he is there to give your team extra health, but he is so much more than that. Exhaust him for Into The Garbage Chute. Remove his die for Caution to benefit one of the Padawans. And then comes his big finale. After your Padawans have both gone down, maybe the second one in a Noble Sacrifice to exhaust your opponent's remaining big threat, your Jawa friend picks up two of his fallen comrades' lightsabers (six of which have Redeploy) and unleashes a furious double-saber utinni strike for the win! He can do it. The Padawans gave him plenty of Lightsaber Training in the ship on the way to Nal Hutta.
All that remains is to sit back, smile, and sip your blue-tini as your opponent recovers from the shock of being defeated by a frenzied double-lightsaber wielding Jawa.

What do you do in a situation where you don't get a weapon in your opening hand (after mulligan)? |

I really like it, but I'd like to suggest a couple of things: A second Force Illusion, and an Obi-Wan Kenobi's Lightsaber or two? I think that this deck would also benefit from Ancient Lightsaber, but, then again, which deck doesn't? Maybe a Shoto Lightsaber too. Anyway, I know some of those are hard to get, but I think it'd be a good idea...
