First published deck, just playing around with some of the new cards with my favourite character Kanan Jarrus - Rebel Jedi

Deck concept is incredibly simple, lots of unique upgrades and It Binds All Things for some good economy, lots of to work on both characters, and Honed Skills for extra upgrades when a character goes down.

Definitely don't think this is super competitive, but this pairing looks kinda fun!

All feedback and suggestions welcome!

How about Lightsaber Pull since most of your weapons are unique?

Did you consider Master of the Council? It also gets redeploy from built to last

@cjnj193 yeah that would be a good addition, tough to squeeze it in the events, I'd maybe take out 1 x CQA and 1 x Overconfidence. Hard to choose, as keeping some removal in there seems quite important.

@Aurelius47 you know I had completely forgotten about that card! That would be a fun addition, could maybe put it in as a one-of and replace one of the other 3-cost sabers.

One slight change needed though. Aayla just got a point cost increase of 1 so shes now 11/14 which means your one point over

Queklaine 222

oh nevermind previous comment. I forgot she was 9/12 to begin with and that that increase hadnt been figured in yet

Master of the Council is a good suggestion, though not sure whether it should replace a Dagger or Obi's Saber. Probably a Dagger. My only other suggestion is that you really should run 2 of Force Misdirection. With Kanan's die and ability, and now Ezra's Saber, it is just too good of a removal card to not run 2 in this deck. I would probably take out Mislead to make room for it. Personally I think Guard is an auto duplicate as well, maybe instead of My Ally?

@AeroEng42 You're right, Force Misdirection is too good in this deck not to be a two-of. I love a My Ally play, it's always served me well, reluctant to take it out but I can't see what else to remove from the deck to make room for it.

Thanks for the feedback so far, some good changes I can make for the next version of this deck.

I love the deck idea @Jayio00. Hope my suggestions are helpful! And I agree, My Ally is an amazing card, but I have found that its 2 cost is really only worth it on a 3-damage side or an OG Obi double focus. The only die in this deck at that level is Obi saber, but not sure how easy it will be to keep its attached character at 2 shields. With only 20 health in Standard, it seems like removal to prevent damage is much more useful.

I am a dedicated blue hero player too, and Kanan is one of my favorites, so it's good to see someone else trying to realize his full potential. Best of luck!

To fit in lightsaber pull, you could easily stop carrying 2x of weapons since you won't be able to play both and a light saber pull is effectively a second of the unique you are removing, with the plus side that if you already have that specific card out, it can find a different weapon

DrunkenPaladinGaming 56

@AeroEng42 Thanks! I've always been a blue hero player too, and Kanan is great fun to play.

@VehicularSupport Such an obvious solution, thanks for the tip! It's always helpful having outside perspective :)

Oh for saber pull you would cut weapons to fit it, since it basically makes you run 3-4 copies of all your weapons

@Queklaine Aayla Secura - Jedi General, went from 9/12 to 10/13, not 11/14

Queklaine 222

I know. You might read the very next post which came less than a minute after that one where I said to ignore it because I had the numbers wrong.
