The Jawa Scavenger was replacing the second gungan for its ability to discard a support or upgrade to gain a resource. If I am playing a mill I have the ARC-170 Starfighter that can be discarded and it goes to my hand for another round of play also if I roll a a huge indirect number I would need resources to resolve. The gungan warrior is really used for prized good and blaze of glory so it works the same only jawa provides extra options. |

Clever use of the Jawa Scavenger with an ARC-170 Starfighter to counter mill! |
Even though you don't mention it, so I'm assuming you are playing it correctly, but if you Jawa ability the ARC-170 and decide to take it back to hand, you do NOT get the resource. Not sure it's really worth it here over another Gungan, which has better damage potential and no pay side |
Jawa is better because it has two direct sides. Its gives extra options. Plus, the way this deck is set up you use the jawa/gungan warrior to either exhaust to get prized goods, exhaust to use into the garbage shoot, or exhaust to blaze of glory. They are sacrificial characters the Jawa just adds extra options to either gain a needed resource or to put Arc-170 back in your hand to get an extra round against mill so in my opinion it is better. |
Why did you use a Jawa Scavenger instead of a second Gungan Warrior?
