Hey everyone Ray from THE COPILOT & DISCARD TO REROLL! I wanted to bring this deck to the public because it has had a lot of success against VADER. Not only do the character's specials allow you to turn Vader's dice to blanks, but I also wanted to make sure that other cards in the deck were heavily teched against him. Here are some notable cards that help improve the match-up!

I haven't been able to take this to locals or a Regional (so no actual tourney reps - mostly TTS Reps) but I would say if you are having trouble with a heavy Vader meta you should give this a try at your locals just to see how it performs for you.

Nice idea to counter Vader, but Theed is not a good idea vs a faster deck imho.

@Scactha I don't know that I'd say Vader is faster than a special chaining deck.

I love this deck to counter Vader, taking a similar one to my next Regionals just for fun.

I can't quite decide if I want to run Taking Ground and Theed for 3 cost weapons or Docking Bay to keep bringing back Suppressive Fire and Honor Guard.

Taking Docking Bay can also stop Vader getting Theed, which is a big deal. So might lean towards that.

Very true. I think theed just opens up so many more options. I was playing docking Bay the other night with an aphra deck and Vader discarded his Vader's Fist and then resolved a 2 money bringing him up to 4 and claimed. He quickly put the Vader's fist out and I didn't even see it coming. So just be aware of that. Wasn't even thinking about it at the time.

@Thunder Oh yeah, good point. Still slows him down a bit I guess, that's 1 less turn of Vader's fist and it slows down all the 3 cost lightsabers coming out. Also slows down stuff like Rise Again considerably. And then he's still gotta pay for some of his damage sides, Fist sides and lightsaber abilities.
