4-0 in Swiss only loss was in final best of three round. Mason at Mission Board Games in Mission Kansas runs a heck of a tournament.

Edit:that block is actually a Dodge. Anyone know how to edit an already published deck?

Thanks for posting, I've played a similar deck in tournaments and had some success as well. Who were your opponents in this tournament?

Brystrom 184

Tough deck matchups for sure with good players behind them. RD 1 Vader Raider RD 2 Vader Jabba RD 3 Bala Nightsister 2xTrooper RD 4 Luke Ackbar

Finals Han/Rey then Jango/Veers

Block should be Dodge, right?

Brystrom 184

@WarTeacheryeah couldn't figure out how to edit an already published decklist. Dodge sure did some work in a couple games though.

Great looking deck! To edit an existing deck, go to "My Decklists" and click the "edit" button there to get into it (instead of just editing the deck notes as you do on this page) to make changes.

How'd you do against Jango/Veers? Also, why not two Lightsabers?

Brystrom 184

@Darik_grey Jango Veers was tough. My only loss of the day was to it. Had enough control cards when I needed them in my two wins vs it. (Including a Dodge for 8 damage one game) and I find this deck does well against single die mitigation control. I'm generally trying to Power of the Force a Focus and I turn to several regular damage sides. As for the Sabers I was finding myself with too many in hand too often, I could swap a Kylo's for another regular one but Kylo's Saber is just too good.

Whats your final thoughts on not including immobilize in your list? It's a card I've toyed with over force training for a long time, but I realize it limits your potential offense.

Brystrom 184

@Soulburn I'm going to try dropping one copy of Hidden in Shadow for one copy of it. I love HiS on Dooku but some more early control would be nice. Shields are just bonus from Immobilze.

After two tournaments with Hidden in Shadows preforming okay but not being that significant I dropped them for 2 immobilize and about 10 games in, think the Immobilize is better in that slot imho. Often it'll give you 1-2 shields with the option of soft-controlling a dice.

Hello.

I'm very keen to build and try out this deck. After looking through the cards I wondered if you would consider using "Force Strike - Turn one of your blue dice to the side showing melee damage (Melee), then you may resolve it immediately"

If you did put Force Strike in, what would you drop?

Thanks in advance. :)

Brystrom 184

@Dragoththe problem with Force Strike in this deck is you only have 3 melee sides that cost one resource so essentially you'd be paying 2 resources to spring a 3 damage out of nowhere. Granted Dooku has a 2 Melee that you could use it on but I just didn't see it worth inclusion. Power of the Force just does it better with all the focus in the deck, you just have to be cautious about Force Misdirection or Block. If you really want to try them though I'd drop 1 No Mercy and 1 Use the Force maybe?

I have dropped one Mind Probe and one Hidden in Shadow for two Immobilize and I like what it's bringing to the deck.
