My version of a Padmé deck, with Han in support.

I've been trying to work out the best deck for Padmé for a while, and I think Han is a good choice because:

He gives you access to yellow events, which are currently the best in the game; he has effectively 3 damage sides and 2 resource sides, with no pay sides; he's neutral so you can play Indifferent; he's a scoundrel, so Mean Streets works well.

The deck is kind of built around the idea that Padmé will be the first to die. There's a lot of cards which require Han: Easy Pickings, Entangle, Indifferent and Ordnance Launcher. However, if he's the primary target, it's OK, because Padmé is an awesome game finisher.

Card choices:

Battlefield: Mean Streets is effectively a resource a turn if you get the claim. I prefer it to Theed post-errata (which is still very strong, especially with a neutral character), but that's just personal preference. IF you're playing against a fast deck though on this , and they don't have a scoundrel on their team, think twice before loading the with a for the rest of the game.

Upgrades: I think these are pretty self-explanatory. Mostly cheap and good. Chewie's Blaster is excellent, Rex's Blaster too (if you have control) and Ordnance Launcher if Han is around too. There's a single Riot Shield for health. Hunting Rifle is a favourite of mine. Play it, get some benefit out of it, overwrite next round.

Downgrades: Hampered can really hurt the opponent, or at least slow them down enough to give you the claim. Target Acquired is epic with Padmé as it turns all her sides into direct damage.

Supports: two solid supports if you have the resources for them. But the deck doesn't rely on them unlike Padmé/Yoda/AR decks.

Events: Lots of removal, you've got 6 double removals (Easy Pickings, Entangle and Flee the Scene (which requires good timing, but 2 dice for 1 is excellent value) and Indifferent is a good catch-all. Field Medic and First Aid for lots of health. Impulsive can be absolutely epic if you're showing a Padmé 3.

Power Surge is kind of just for fun to resolve a 3 as 6 (or a 2 as 4 in a pinch). I think it earns it's spot as from-hand damage can be clutch in close games. Turn The Tables can be absolutely blow-out in this deck, but only if both your characters are alive or you've got 2 solid upgrades on Padmé, so don't hang on to it on the off-chance.

Thoughts and suggestions much appreciated. Have fun.
